The Waiter/Runner supports guest service at Como Lounge Cafe, helping guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and valued.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly.
- Manage reservations and walk-ins, guide guests to tables, and seat them.
- Present menus, describe offerings, and highlight daily specials.
- Take accurate orders and relay special requests and dietary needs to the kitchen.
- Check on guests, address concerns, and support their dining experience.
- Clear and reset tables and keep them clean and organized.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to provide timely service.
- Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
Qualifications
- Waiter or hostess experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; friendly, approachable manner and customer-service focus.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Two years of F&B experience is preferred.
- Ability to reliably commute to Dubai or relocate before starting is stated as required.
