Lead daily coffee operations and the barista team while delivering consistently high-quality beverages and customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the barista team; prepare specialty beverages and maintain consistent coffee quality and presentation.
- Train team members in coffee preparation, recipes, equipment, and service; manage stock, ordering, and waste.
- Maintain coffee equipment and a clean, organized station that meets food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Monitor team performance, handle customer feedback, and work with management on menu and operational improvements.
Qualifications and requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Barista, Senior Barista, or in a similar leadership role; two years in either named role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, espresso, brewing, milk steaming, latte art, and beverage presentation.
- Experience training and supervising barista teams; good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of hygiene, food safety, and equipment maintenance; able to work efficiently in a fast-paced café.
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, passion for coffee, and good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
Pay
- Pay starts at AED 6,000 per month.
