Deliver quality teller service through accurate and efficient transaction processing while representing ADIB professionally.
The position is based at the Shaikh Zayed Road Branch in Dubai.
Teller services
- Process cash deposits and withdrawals, drafts, telegraphic transfers, payment and standing orders, foreign currency transactions, cheque deposits, and other counter services under operational procedures.
- Coordinate with Treasury to obtain rates for VIP and high-net-worth customers for centralized telegraphic transfers.
- Serve Private Banking customers at separate counters when required.
- Identify product inquiries, refer prospective customers to Sales staff, and cross-sell where appropriate.
Controls and operations
- Serve as a dual custodian for branch vault cash and security stationery and assist the Head of Operations with dual-control responsibilities.
- Perform cash reconciliation, cash and end-of-day balancing, and general filing.
- Understand and process activities under Branch Operations Centralization Projects.
Knowledge and skills
- Knowledge of ADIB retail banking products and services and operational policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations, risks, and Central Bank of the UAE regulations.
- Fair knowledge of service standards, cross-sales, and local competitors.
- Computer skills.
