Technical Lead

Position Summary

Snowflake Development

• Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake-based data warehouse solutions.
• Build and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, tasks, and streams.
• Develop secure and scalable ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Implement Snowflake performance tuning and query optimization.
• Manage Snowflake security, role-based access controls, and data governance.
• Support data migration and modernization initiatives.

AWS Cloud Engineering

• Develop and maintain cloud-native data solutions on AWS.
• Use AWS services including S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena, CloudWatch, IAM, EventBridge, Secrets Manager, and SNS/SQS.
• Build automated ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and data pipeline issues.

Python and Data Engineering

• Develop reusable Python frameworks and utilities.
• Build automation scripts for ingestion, validation, reconciliation, and monitoring.
• Create API integrations with internal and external systems.
• Implement logging, exception handling, and performance optimization.
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Work with JSON, XML, Parquet, and CSV data.
• Perform data quality validation and reconciliation.
• Create metadata-driven data processing solutions and support analytics requirements.

Collaboration and Leadership

• Work with business analysts, architects, product owners, and onshore teams.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Provide production support and root cause analysis.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
• Lead technical discussions and provide solutions with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• B.E. or B.Tech degree.
• 8 to 12 years of experience.
• Strong Snowflake SQL expertise for performance tuning complex workloads.
• Hands-on AWS development expertise with Glue, Lambda, and S3.
• Production-grade Python programming, frameworks, and automation capability.
• Ability to work directly with onshore architects, business stakeholders, and product teams.
