Role overview
The Revenue Cycle – Front End Solution Consultant configures, tests and supports patient access and registration workflows to deliver reliable front-end revenue cycle processes.
Core responsibilities
- Configure patient registration parameters, scheduling rules and eligibility checks according to design specifications.
- Execute unit, integration and UAT testing; document results and coordinate defect resolution with offshore teams.
- Provide tier-2 support for patient access workflows.
- Assist with migration of patient demographics, scheduling and eligibility data.
- Maintain configuration runbooks, SOPs and knowledge base articles.
- Train registration and scheduling staff on system functionality and best practices.
- Monitor front-end transaction performance and recommend optimizations.
Technical skills
- Proven configuration experience with Cerner Patient Access and Scheduling modules is specified.
- Familiarity with data reconciliation and reporting is specified.
Experience and qualifications
- The description requests 4–6 years of Cerner front-end revenue cycle implementation or support experience.
- Separate qualification fields list a minimum of 1 and maximum of 3 years of experience.
- Any degree with IT is listed as a qualification.
