Role Overview
Lead Ambulatory and MyChart resources who report to this role, with the role reporting to a delivery manager.
Own team reporting, monthly metrics, and client escalation handling.
Epic Responsibilities
- Customize Epic modules, design Smart Sets, and build clinical workflows.
- Meet with clinicians and leadership to identify bottlenecks and close workflow gaps.
- Investigate software issues, apply system updates, and provide tier-2 or tier-3 end-user support.
- Create test scripts and run unit testing before go-lives and version upgrades.
- Work with clinical educators to support documentation standards and proper software use.
Qualifications
- Active EpicCare Ambulatory certification is typically required, with MyChart specialization requested in some cases.
- Typically requires 6 to 8 years of Epic implementation or support experience.
- Strong understanding of clinical environments is expected.
- A Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent technical degree is listed.
