Technical Lead

Position summary

Snowflake development

• Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
• Build and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, tasks, and streams.
• Develop secure and scalable ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Tune Snowflake performance and optimize queries.
• Manage Snowflake security, role-based access controls, and data governance.
• Support data migration and modernization initiatives.

AWS cloud engineering

• Develop and maintain cloud-native data solutions on AWS.
• Work with AWS services including S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena, CloudWatch, IAM, EventBridge, Secrets Manager, and SNS/SQS.
• Build automated ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and data pipeline issues.

Python and data engineering

• Develop reusable Python frameworks and utilities.
• Build automation for ingestion, validation, reconciliation, and monitoring.
• Create API integrations with internal and external systems.
• Implement logging, exception handling, and performance optimization.
• Work with structured and semi-structured data including JSON, XML, Parquet, and CSV.
• Create metadata-driven data processing solutions and support reporting requirements.

Collaboration and leadership

• Work with business analysts, architects, product owners, and onshore teams.
• Participate in sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Provide production support and root cause analysis.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
• Lead technical discussions and provide solutions with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• B.E. or B.Tech degree.
• The source lists a minimum of 8 and maximum of 12 years of experience.
• Strong Snowflake SQL expertise and performance tuning capability.
• Hands-on AWS development experience with Glue, Lambda, and S3.
• Proficient Python development for production frameworks and automation.
• Ability to work with onshore architects, business stakeholders, and product teams.
