The Technical Advisor supervises ongoing decorative-project painting to ensure coating products are used correctly and achieve recommended performance.
The position is based in Riyadh and reports to the Senior Technical Advisor.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and advise applicators on product application and conduct on-site assessments.
- Inspect and prepare concrete surfaces for coating; report on decorative and floor-coating work.
- Conduct film thickness, adhesion, visual, and other specified quality tests; troubleshoot surface and performance issues.
- Train and certify contractors and applicators as authorized Jotun applicators.
- Liaise with the Quality Control Lab on troubleshooting and customer recommendations.
- Deliver product training to internal teams and customers.
- Follow HSEQ standards, use PPE, and ensure safe handling of hazardous materials and compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; a degree in Paint Technology is preferred.
- 3–4 years of relevant technical-service experience in decorative paint.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; Arabic speaking is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
- Expected qualities include initiative, accountability, systematic planning, sound judgment, and specialist expertise.
