The Coating Advisor provides technical customer support on paint application and inspections to ensure coating specifications are met and work complies with contracts.
The position is based in Dubai and reports to the Technical Service Team Leader.
Responsibilities
- Advise customers, contractors, and applicators on surface preparation and paint application; conduct coating inspections.
- Monitor projects for compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
- Prepare technical inspection reports and project documentation.
- Troubleshoot coating challenges and recommend practical solutions.
- Support sales colleagues before, during, and after project execution; maintain customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Follow company health, safety, and environmental standards and procedures.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 6 years of relevant experience, including paints and coatings, corrosion protection, offshore, and infrastructure projects.
- NACE Level II or FROSIO Level 3.
- Fluency in spoken and written English and a valid driving license; a UAE license is preferable.
- Availability to travel abroad based on project needs.
- PFP or intumescent coating experience is preferred; marine project and reporting experience is an advantage.
