The Supply and Procurement Manager develops procurement strategies and procures materials, equipment, and services for water and wastewater projects.
Procurement and supplier responsibilities
- Manage RFQs, tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, purchase order issuance, and contract management.
- Identify and qualify suppliers for pumps, valves, pipes, fittings, instrumentation, chemical dosing systems, filtration systems, membranes, and electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery to support project schedules.
- Maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and contractors; evaluate performance on quality, delivery, cost, and service.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, and contracts; develop supplier KPIs, conduct reviews, and resolve disputes.
Requirements
- Experience or capability to develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Capability to source materials, equipment, and services for water and wastewater projects.
- Knowledge of suppliers and equipment relevant to pumps, valves, pipes, fittings, instrumentation, chemical dosing, filtration, membranes, and electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to manage procurement activities, supplier relationships, negotiations, and contractual issues.
