Product Quality - Engineer

Role overview

Quality planning and inspection

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures for renewable energy projects.
• Inspect solar PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, transformers, cables, switchgear, BESS equipment, and other project materials.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, Inspection and Test Plans, Quality Plans, and method statements.
• Conduct incoming material inspections, supplier assessments, factory inspections, and Factory Acceptance Tests.

Supplier quality and compliance

• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, procurement, engineering, construction, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and verify compliance with approved specifications, applicable codes, and standards.
• Conduct supplier audits, quality inspections, and product performance assessments.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and applicable IEC, ASTM, and other relevant industry standards.

Corrective action and documentation

• Identify and resolve non-conformities, implement corrective and preventive actions, and perform root cause analysis.
• Verify material test certificates, inspection reports, calibration certificates, and quality documentation.
• Monitor defects, failure trends, reliability issues, and supplier performance; recommend improvements.
• Prepare quality reports, inspection records, audit findings, and project quality documentation.
• Support commissioning, testing, and handover by verifying that quality requirements are met.
• Promote continuous improvement, risk prevention, and quality awareness across project teams.
