Role overview
Leads subsurface investigation activities across projects and integrates modern geospatial technologies for ground assessment and data-driven construction planning.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute geotechnical investigations.
- Interpret soil and rock data for foundation design and risk assessment.
- Manage and operate GPR, resistivity, seismic, and other investigation equipment; ensure calibration, maintenance, and utilization.
- Collaborate with GIS and BIM teams on DTM, volumetrics, and digital models.
- Prepare technical reports, dashboards, and project insights.
- Ensure compliance with IS codes, safety, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications and experience
- B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or Geophysics.
- 5–10 years of experience in subsurface investigation for infrastructure projects.
Key skills
- Strong knowledge of soil mechanics and foundation engineering.
- Hands-on experience with geophysical equipment.
- Exposure to drone surveys and LiDAR data processing.
- Familiarity with GIS, BIM, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
