Procurement responsibilities
- Develops procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Sources materials, equipment and services for water and wastewater projects.
- Manages RFQs, tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, purchase orders and contract management.
- Identifies and qualifies suppliers for pumps, valves, pipes, fittings, instrumentation, chemical dosing, filtration, membranes, and electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Ensures timely procurement and delivery to support project schedules.
Supplier and contract management
- Builds strategic relationships with suppliers and contractors.
- Evaluates supplier quality, delivery, cost and service performance.
- Negotiates pricing, payment terms, warranties and contractual agreements.
- Develops supplier performance KPIs and conducts periodic reviews.
- Resolves supplier disputes and contractual issues.
Role qualifications
