Role overview
Structural Engineer role supporting design, analysis, and supervision of structural elements in construction projects.
Work aims to ensure structural safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with structural design calculations and prepare design drawings for projects.
- Review and interpret engineering documents, plans, and specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers on integrated project execution.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction and verify compliance with design specifications.
- Support technical reports and project documentation.
- Help resolve structural engineering issues during construction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- At least 3 years of structural engineering experience; UAE construction experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, or equivalent.
- Strong AutoCAD and other drafting-tool skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
