Role overview

Planning leadership and controls

• Define, implement, and govern project planning and scheduling strategies and project control frameworks across major construction developments.
• Lead, mentor, and manage planning engineers and project controls professionals.
• Direct baseline programmes, integrated master schedules, and resource- or cost-loaded schedules aligned with contractual obligations and business objectives.
• Drive critical path analysis, scenario planning, schedule risk assessments, and delay impact analysis, including Extension of Time claims strategy.
• Monitor performance against approved baselines and hold teams, consultants, and contractors accountable for schedule commitments.

Reporting and continuous improvement

• Prepare and present executive dashboards, progress reports, and strategic insights for senior leadership and Project Directors.
• Review, evaluate, and approve contractor and subcontractor programmes for compliance with project and contractual requirements.
• Establish best practices, refine reporting standards, and modernize planning and project controls methodologies.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive project planning and controls experience, including leadership or managerial capacity on major construction or real estate projects in the UAE/GCC region.
• Expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project, critical path analysis, forensic delay analysis, and EOT claims management.
• Track record managing planning teams and interacting directly with C-suite executives, clients, and main contractors.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Working schedule

• Six days per week, Monday through Saturday; Sunday is a day off.
