Role overview
The Strategic Sourcing Specialist supports the Electronics Center of Excellence and drives global sourcing strategy for the electronics category.
The role covers SupplyFrame RFQs, bill-of-materials analysis, lifecycle management, end-of-life and country-of-origin activities, and project progress tracking.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for semiconductor and passive components.
- Lead distributor and broker supplier activities.
- Use SupplyFrame, SAP, EDW, Power BI, and Advanced Excel to generate sourcing insights.
- Gather information from multiple sources and translate it into usable data for leadership decisions.
- Track, monitor, and summarize project progress to help meet deadlines.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or a related field.
- Significant procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain experience in electronics or semiconductors.
- Strong data analysis and analytical skills.
- Experience using SAP ERP, EDW, Power BI, Advanced Excel, and related sourcing systems.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience sourcing semiconductor, passive, distributor, and broker components.
- Knowledge of global supply chain dynamics and high-growth regions.
- Communication, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of MS SQL database design, queries, and stored procedures.
