Senior Attorney supporting Honeywell Building Automation across the Middle East, Turkey and Africa.
Provides practical legal advice to protect company interests, support strategy, navigate legal challenges, and build internal and external business partnerships.
Reports to the General Counsel for Building Automation in the region.
Work arrangement
- Position is based in Dubai, UAE, on a hybrid work schedule aligned with the direct manager.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on corporate and commercial matters.
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Work with business units and cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Support management of external legal counsel and legal projects.
Required qualifications
- 6+ years practicing law, with a strong corporate and commercial legal background.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken Arabic.
- Proven ability to review and negotiate complex contracts and agreements.
- In-depth knowledge of business-relevant laws and regulations.
- Experience collaborating across functions and managing legal risks.
- Familiarity with external legal counsel management.
Valued qualifications
- LLB or JD from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice as an advocate, attorney, or solicitor in at least one jurisdiction.
- Experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.
- Analytical and problem-solving ability; independence and ability to manage priorities.
- Negotiation skills, attention to detail, ethical conduct, and professional integrity.
