Role overview
Inside Sales Representative role focused on sales growth, customer engagement, and relationship-building in a dynamic sales environment.
Customers include industrial process-industry customers, installed-base customers, and new transactional markets or segments.
Business relationships and sales process
- Grow transactional customer business by developing incremental opportunities and implementing regional sales programs and campaigns aligned with HPS STRAP.
- Provide product, price, and delivery information as the customer focal point.
- Expedite and verify customer orders when required.
- Support account managers with routine quoting, estimating, booking, delivery, and billing inquiries.
- Liaise between customers and factories, Help Desk, Customer Shared Service, and TAC.
- Manage workflow to meet goals and customer relationships through excellent service.
Qualifications
- One to three years of industry sales experience.
- Knowledge of Industrial Automation products and solutions and the HPS value proposition.
- Understand customer businesses, decision-making, and buying processes.
- Ability to identify opportunities within a customer installed base.
- Value-selling, relationship-building, results, closing, follow-through, and customer-service capabilities.
- Strong organization and time management; positive, persuasive, enthusiastic, and a team player.
