The role manages construction materials, tools, equipment, inventory records, and store operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, verify, and record deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Maintain organized storage, stock records, and inventory controls; issue items to site teams against approved requisitions.
- Monitor stock and coordinate replenishment with procurement; conduct physical checks and report discrepancies.
- Safeguard and properly handle materials and assets; maintain delivery notes, GRNs, issue vouchers, registers, and reports.
- Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, procurement teams, and suppliers on requirements and deliveries.
- Track consumption, movements, and returns; follow inventory procedures, site safety requirements, and handling standards.
Requirements
- Diploma, bachelor's degree, or relevant educational qualification.
- Mandatory prior Storekeeper experience in a construction or contracting company.
- Knowledge of construction materials, tools, equipment, inventory procedures, and material receiving, issuing, storing, and tracking.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and inventory management or ERP systems.
- Familiarity with purchase orders, delivery notes, GRNs, material requisitions, and stock registers.
- Organizational, documentation, record-keeping, attention-to-detail, communication, and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently and manage daily store operations.
Salary and benefits
- Salary is AED 1,500–3,500 per month, depending on qualifications and experience; another pay line states AED 1,600–3,500 per month.
- Other benefits are provided under UAE Labour Law and company policy.
