Project Engineer (Civil)

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate project activities from initiation through completion; liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, manpower, resources, material requirements, quality standards, and costs.
• Resolve technical issues, site challenges, and drawing discrepancies with consultants and relevant departments.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, technical submissions, drawing revisions, and project specifications.
• Maintain progress reports, work schedules, technical documentation, and project records.
• Ensure work complies with approved drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, applicable regulations, quality procedures, and health and safety requirements.
• Coordinate procurement, material deliveries, and subcontractor works to prevent delays.
• Monitor milestones and risks, implement corrective actions, and take responsibility for project deliverables and completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–6 years of GCC experience in construction and renovation projects.
• Experience in project execution, site management, and coordination with clients and consultants.
• Knowledge of civil construction methods, renovation works, project planning, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; project planning tools such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Familiarity with UAE construction regulations, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple activities, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory; willingness to travel between project sites across the UAE.

Pay

• Pay is AED 3,500–7,000 per month.

• Work is in person.
