Role purpose
Perform storekeeping for materials, tools, and equipment, supporting operational needs through accurate inventory and material flow.
Receiving and storage
- Receive materials and verify quantity and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Inspect for damage or discrepancies, report issues, and complete receipt documentation.
- Store items in designated locations according to storage and safety guidelines.
- Maintain ERP stock records, assist with physical counts, and reconcile differences.
Issuance and records
- Issue materials against approved requests or job orders and record each transaction promptly.
- Handle and package items for issuance or transfer.
- Prepare periodic reports on stock movement and availability and support audits with records.
Safety and coordination
- Maintain clean, orderly storage areas and follow safety protocols; report unsafe conditions.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and maintenance for timely supply.
- Support loading and unloading when required.
Qualifications and competencies
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration or a relevant field.
- Fresher to 0–2 years of work experience.
- Technical and functional competencies include warehouse operations, warehouse security, oral and written communication, and work order management.
Role accountability
- Meet operational and development targets, use resources efficiently, report deviations, and escalate complex issues.
- Comply with policies, procedures, and work instructions; support quality, process improvements, and HSE controls.
