Job Purpose
Plan, control and monitor execution of electrical related project tasks efficiently, in a timely manner and to quality standards per defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.
Key Accountability Areas
- Perform erection, testing and commissioning of power and distribution transformers at site and factory.
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance and testing of power and distribution transformers.
- Inspect transformers upon arrival and perform necessary tests.
- Check the availability of all accessories for the transformer.
- Check impact recorders and collect data from them.
- Check requirements for cranes or other equipment for assembly or disassembly of transformers at sites or factory.
- Perform routine electrical tests of transformers in factory and at site per international standards.
- Perform low voltage electrical tests at the site.
- Plan day-to-day site activities for timely completion of the job.
- Perform erection of transformer accessories, vacuuming and oil filtration per quality procedures.
- Perform in-process testing of transformers during various stages of repair or manufacturing.
- Coordinate with marketing, planning and the customer for gate passes and work permits for job execution.
Academic Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Work experience as a fresher with 0-2 years.
