Job Purpose
The position exists to plan, organize, and control the electrical activities of the project to accomplish successful completion within Project Manager guidelines.
Work must follow established schedules, budgets, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) policy constraints.
Key Accountability Areas
- Review project electrical documents including methodology, quality assurance, control procedures, engineering, and construction time schedules.
- Prepare and review technical submittals such as design, specifications, drawings, calculations, method statements, TPIs, and risk assessments for compliance with client, authority, end-user, local, and international standards.
- Oversee and inspect site installation work daily, witness tests, identify non-compliance, and recommend corrective measures.
- Coordinate daily with the Team Leader and team members to verify, document, and report quality issues of subcontractor work and suggest corrective actions.
- Ensure all construction activities run well at the site and review progress.
- Conduct technical meetings and follow up with Client Design and Engineering Divisions.
- Maintain the quality standards of all electrical activities as per the project quality plan.
Role Accountability
Train subordinates and form a team to get work done effectively.
Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates and delegate assignments.
Ensure fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale and motivation.
Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets per delivery schedules.
Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
Provide periodic reports detailing deviation and execution of planned tasks.
Resolve related problems and escalate complex operational issues.
Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes.
Coordinate written systems, policies, and procedures and seek automation opportunities.
Comply with related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls.
Academic Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Fresher with 0-2 years of work experience.
