The Stocker handles shelf stocking and merchandise flow from receiving to the selling area while following defined standards.
Merchandise and inventory
- Transport merchandise and inventory from receiving to the selling area.
- Fill and arrange shelves; keep the selling area organized and aligned with company merchandise policy.
- Maintain item labels and price tags for accurate labeling and pricing.
- Identify and segregate waste and damaged products daily and record them.
- Identify slow-moving items and sleeping stock to help prioritize expiry where applicable.
- Face products correctly to maximize visibility.
- Participate in labeling surveys to check pricing.
- Arrange section space in the warehouse appropriately.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
Customer service
- Assist customers with item inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Guide customers through the store upon request and provide customer service.
- Promote add-on sales and remain aware of promotions and advertisements.
Qualifications and experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in a similar role.
- Stocker or merchandising experience is listed as preferred.
Skills
- Strong organization and multitasking skills.
- Ability to adapt to a multicultural environment.
- Excellent listening abilities and high attention to detail.
Employment and pay
- Job type is full-time and permanent.
- Pay is listed as AED 1–2 per month.
