Role overview
Pick and consolidate online orders from the putaway area and selling-area shelves.
Ensure every order is complete and correct, goods meet company standards, and work is productive.
Picker responsibilities
- Pick and scan ordered items individually from shelves; perform quality checks and verify expiry dates.
- Confirm out-of-stock items with the section in charge and provide feedback when items are incorrect or below standard.
- Keep the putaway area organized; move unused trolleys and crates to storage and keep goods in proper areas and condition.
- Report anomalies, including incorrect product images or locations and picking-system issues.
- Ensure putaway locations and crates have scannable barcodes.
Competencies
- Good spoken and written English communication skills.
- Good understanding of quality control checks and retail products.
- Ability to work under pressure and strong attention to detail.
Qualifications and experience
- High school education or diploma.
- Two years of experience; e-commerce operations experience is preferred.
- Retail online business experience is a plus.
Work location
- Work is in person.
