Pick and consolidate ecommerce orders from the putaway area and selling-area shelves.
Check expiry dates, scan ordered items, and ensure each order is complete and correct.
Key responsibilities
- Pick orders by scanning items individually and perform quality checks.
- Check goods against expiry-date policy and verify out-of-stock items with the section in charge.
- Provide feedback about incorrect picks or products that do not meet quality standards.
- Organize the putaway area and move unused trolleys and crates to storage.
- Report product-image, location, or picking-system anomalies.
- Ensure locations and crates have scannable barcodes and maintain goods in proper areas and condition.
Required background
- High school education or diploma.
- At least two years of experience; ecommerce operations experience is preferred.
- Retail online business experience is a plus.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills.
- Understanding of quality control checks and retail products, and ability to work under pressure.
