Prepare fish products according to section operating standards and hygiene controls.
Weigh, package, and display fish products.
Fish preparation and customer service
- Wrap, weigh, label, and price fish cuts.
- Prepare fish cuts and products and arrange them in the display counter according to guidelines.
- Assist customers with product enquiries professionally and promptly.
- Promote add-on sales and remain aware of promotions and advertisements.
Operating standards and stock control
- Follow applicable health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices.
- Operate and sanitize equipment safely and properly.
- Keep the work area, freezers, and chillers clean and dispose of waste correctly.
- Identify and segregate waste and damaged products daily.
Qualifications and skills
- Basic English reading, writing, and interpretation skills are required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
- The role requires 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
