The cashier processes transactions accurately and promptly using various payment methods while providing excellent customer service.
The role follows Cash Counter Office policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Scan items, register sales, and process transactions using the required payment method.
- Communicate applicable currency rates and denominations to customers; conduct currency security checks when required.
- Assist customers professionally and promptly, providing excellent service.
- Install, check, and manage the cash unit, returning it at the end of each day.
- Secure the designated counter, cash, and other valuables.
- Keep bags, the card machine, and stationery available at the counter.
- Follow opening, closing, and cash reconciliation procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0–2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong organization and multitasking skills; ability to adapt in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent listening abilities and high attention to detail.
