About the Role

Own configuration and advise on the strategic direction of the Avature ecosystem and related talent acquisition tools.

Partner with the Technical Product Owner, talent acquisition leadership, and technology partners to translate business needs into requirements and platform decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Configure Avature workflows, data models, forms, templates, permissions, communications, portals, and reporting.
  • Lead discovery workshops and interviews; translate business needs into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and future-state designs.
  • Design integrations with Workday, ServiceNow, and other talent acquisition tools, including data mappings, field logic, and error handling.
  • Set configuration governance, standards, environments, change control, and release management; lead scope and change impact analysis.
  • Lead data migration and quality, including mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Deliver dashboards, KPIs, and analytics for talent acquisition pipeline, process, and data quality.
  • Lead system, integration, regression, and UAT testing; assess vendor releases and recommend adoption paths.
  • Develop self-service, automation, and AI-enabled solutions; provide Tier 3 Avature support and vendor coordination.
  • Create documentation and training and deliver administrator and end-user sessions.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years implementing and administering talent acquisition or enterprise business platforms, including 3+ years configuring Avature or a comparable ATS/CRM.
  • Deep knowledge of talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, CRM, requisitions, candidate management, onboarding handoff, and recruiting operations.
  • Experience configuring complex workflows, data models, and permissions; leading requirements gathering, process design, test scripting, and change control.
  • Experience with HRIS and enterprise integrations, data mapping, migration, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery and tools such as Scrum, Jira, and ServiceNow.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and influence; judgment balancing flexibility, governance, scalability, and technical debt.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently and drive work to closure.
  • Active Avature certification or willingness to earn certification after joining.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using AI to draft requirements, user stories, and test scripts, or building and governing AI-assisted automation.

Compensation

  • Expected base salary is CAD 90,000 to CAD 115,000 per year.
  • A discretionary bonus may be available based on individual and company performance; actual compensation depends on relevant qualifications and other factors.

Employee Perks

  • Benefits include vacation, wellness and sick days, phone reimbursement, RRSP matching, TFSA, health and dental coverage, insurance, family planning benefits, and employee activities.
  • Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.

Hiring Information

  • Employment requires completion of a background check.
