Slalom seeks an experienced data-oriented program delivery leader for client data products, data ecosystems, and data transformation initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Lead delivery of data products, transformation programs, and workstreams, owning scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and outcomes.
  • Balance business needs with technical feasibility, scalability, and architecture; translate between business and technical stakeholders.
  • Own program financial and strategic outcomes and support client account growth through measurable delivery.
  • Coach Agile teams, resolve impediments, and use AI and automation to improve delivery and decision-making.
  • Maintain plans, resources, budgets, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies; partner with architects on integrated solution design.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies, prioritize and document backlogs, guide estimation and capacity planning, validate acceptance criteria, and track delivery metrics.
  • Prepare executive communications and contribute mentorship and practices to Slalom's data capability.

What you'll bring

  • At least 7 years in technical project management, product management, technical delivery leadership, data products, analytics platforms, data warehousing, or data transformation.
  • Understanding of data lakes, warehouses, ETL/ELT, APIs, cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and modern data technologies including Snowflake, dbt, Databricks, DataOps, and data mesh.
  • Agile delivery experience and proficiency with relevant Agile, work management, planning, and test case management tools.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, including executive communications and translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Compensation

  • Targeted base salary ranges are CAD 108,000–144,000 for Sr. Consultant and CAD 140,000–160,000 for Principal in Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver.
  • An annual discretionary bonus may be available; actual compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other factors.
