The role

Provide technical leadership and specialist expertise for the Cúram Case Management System and associated batch processing services.

Lead a hybrid support team of in-house Application Operations Engineers and supplier System Business Analysts.

The team supports 17 benefit products and helps ensure service availability, platform stability, integration processing and accurate client payments.

The role is the senior operational lead and subject matter expert for incident response and service improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain secure configuration and accurate information, including Cúram security and licence assets.
  • Manage service components to meet business needs, performance targets and user outcomes.
  • Lead complex change requests, incident and problem resolution, root-cause analysis and prevention.
  • Monitor trends and risks, improve processes and promote best practices.
  • Develop operational frameworks, procedures, standards and documentation.
  • Lead system, functional, non-functional and user acceptance testing planning and coordination.
  • Work with stakeholders and user researchers to understand user needs, journeys and service requirements.

Person specification

  • Strong hands-on application support experience.
  • Proven technical leadership skills and a record of leading teams that deliver critical business services.

Location and working pattern

  • The listed locations are Dundee and Glasgow.
  • The role is full-time.

Salary and supplement

  • The advertised salary range is £62,111–£77,439.
  • The role currently attracts a £3,000 annual Government Digital and Data profession pay supplement, paid monthly and reviewed regularly.
