Job summary

Develop and support high-quality Power BI reporting to help colleagues and leaders make informed operational and strategic decisions.

Work in the Data Services Team with complex datasets and enterprise data platforms.

Support a managed self-service reporting model and promote robust, accessible reporting products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end development of Power BI dashboards and reports, from requirements gathering through publication and support.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into effective visualisations and reporting products.
  • Develop reporting and data visualisation standards and promote governance and best practice.
  • Perform complex analysis and produce reporting for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Run workshops, peer review colleagues' work, and guide users in effective use of reporting tools.
  • Investigate reporting issues, validate outputs, and support data-driven solution implementation.
  • Define data governance mechanisms and contribute to data integration, corporate patterns, metadata, and quality practices.
  • Manage data analysis projects and share knowledge with others.

  • The senior role leads data analysis in a team or across an area and guides appropriate data practices.
  • Lead improvement of processes for data, reporting, and visualisation.
  • Communicate data products and projects, adapting communication to stakeholder needs.

Candidate profile

  • The role is suited to an experienced Power BI Developer, BI Developer, or Reporting Analyst.
  • Strong Power BI development, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement skills are sought.
  • Comfort translating business requirements into meaningful visualisations and working with complex data.
