Role Overview

Join Nike's ITC squad supporting an enterprise workflow automation platform built on OutSystems 11.

The platform supports Finance and Supply Chain processes and runs on Azure infrastructure with IIS, .NET, C#, and SQL Server.

Work with a Product Owner, Senior Engineer, and small engineering squad across development and production support.

Candidate Profile

  • Hands-on Software Engineer with OutSystems 11 experience, or strong .NET and SQL Server experience with interest in growing on OutSystems.
  • Build and support a business-critical platform, write maintainable code, debug issues, and take ownership in a small team.
  • At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.

Technical Skills

  • OutSystems 11 experience is strongly preferred, including Service Studio, Integration Studio, LifeTime, Service Center, BPT workflows, and deployment models.
  • Strong C# and .NET development skills with Visual Studio and extension-style logic.
  • Strong T-SQL and SQL Server skills covering queries, stored procedures, schemas, tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Working Azure knowledge including VMs, SQL Server, Load Balancer, Log Analytics, and Storage.
  • Enterprise integration knowledge covering REST, SOAP, event-driven, and file-based integrations.
  • SAP integration exposure is a plus.
  • Fundamentals in web architecture, security, testing, deployment, and SDLC.
  • Familiarity with KQL, PagerDuty, ServiceNow, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Visual Studio.

Platform Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain OutSystems modules for invoice processing, customer master, returns, purchase orders, royalty, billing, and vendor setup.
  • Build and maintain integrations with SAP, Coupa, Databricks, internal event streaming, and other enterprise systems.
  • Build or support C# and .NET extensions where OutSystems-native capabilities are insufficient.
  • Write tested code and documentation for long-term platform ownership.

Release and Operations

  • Participate in code reviews, UAT validation, production deployment, ServiceNow change requests, validation, and rollback.
  • Support on-call operations, incident response, post-incident reviews, and troubleshooting across the platform stack.
  • Maintain documentation for dependencies, integrations, deployments, runbooks, and onboarding.
  • Participate in Agile refinement, planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
