Role overview

Full-time software engineering role on Nike's Data, Analytics, and Intelligence team.

Build scalable, secure, and intelligent platforms supporting data-driven decisions and personalized experiences.

What you'll work on

Design, develop, and maintain scalable AI services for Nike data platforms.
Build SDKs, APIs, and microservices for enterprise-wide applications.
Develop agentic workflows and AI/LLM-powered enterprise applications.
Build user-facing applications and internal tools with modern UI frameworks to surface AI/ML capabilities.
Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional engineering teams.
Apply software development, data governance, and platform observability best practices.
Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and incorporate feedback.

Required qualifications

Undergraduate degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
At least 1 year of professional software engineering experience.
Ability to write robust, maintainable, and extendable code in Python.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, GitOps workflows, cloud architecture, and AWS.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with knowledge of algorithms, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred and additional technologies

Front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or TypeScript, and React or Streamlit, are nice to have.
Experience or familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, and dependency management tools such as uv is listed.
Familiarity with Agile, test-driven development, and authentication protocols such as OAuth, OIDC, or SSO platforms is listed.
