Role Overview

Who We Are Looking For

• Hands-on Senior Software Engineer with strong current OutSystems 11 experience.
• The role requires autonomy, maintainable code, production debugging, technical ownership, and mentoring.

Required Skillset

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on OutSystems 11 experience with Service Studio, Integration Studio, LifeTime, Service Center, BPT workflows, and platform deployment.
• Strong C#/.NET on IIS, including Visual Studio extensions.
• Strong T-SQL and SQL Server experience with schema design, stored procedures, query tuning, indexing, and high-availability operations.
• Working knowledge of Azure VMs, SQL Server, Load Balancer, Log Analytics, and Storage.
• Experience diagnosing issues at the developer or operator level.
• Knowledge of REST, SOAP, event-driven, and file-based enterprise integration patterns; SAP integration is a strong plus.
• Strong web application architecture, security, and SDLC fundamentals.
• Experience with Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Visual Studio for AI-assisted development.
• Familiarity with Azure Log Analytics, KQL, PagerDuty, and ServiceNow for operations and change management.

What You Will Work On

• Lead squad technical direction, code reviews, and engineer mentoring.
• Develop OutSystems modules for Finance and Supply Chain workflows including invoice processing, customer master, returns, purchase orders, royalties, billing, and vendor setup.
• Build integrations with SAP, Coupa, Databricks, and internal event streaming systems.
• Develop C#/.NET extensions where OutSystems-native capabilities are insufficient.
• Own releases, including peer review, UAT promotion, production deployment, change requests, validation, and rollback.
• Own operational health through on-call escalations, incident response, post-incident reviews, and Azure application operations.
• Maintain platform documentation, integration records, deployment processes, and runbooks.
• Implement code quality, observability, security, and audit compliance practices.
• Identify AI and machine learning opportunities with the Product Owner.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and use Cursor or GitHub Copilot in daily development.
