Role overview

Experience and technical qualifications

• At least 7 years of software development experience and experience in a collaborative, multidisciplinary development team.
• Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Apex, and AMPscript; at least 4 years of TypeScript proficiency.
• Working knowledge of Java and relevant frameworks; experience with distributed or cloud environments such as AWS, GCE, or Azure.
• Experience with microservices, domain-driven design, SOAP and RESTful Java services, and distributed processing of large datasets.
• Use AI-powered developer tools such as Cursor to accelerate development and learning.
• Experience with test-driven development using JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, Playwright, or similar tools.
• Experience with monitoring and tracing tools such as Splunk, SignalFx, Kibana, or Grafana.
• Experience with CI, unit testing, static analysis, automated integration tests, Jenkins, GitHub workflows, and release readiness; continuous delivery is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Scrum and agile principles; strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a relevant subject, or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-have experience

• Experience designing and implementing highly scalable web applications.
• Experience with NoSQL stores such as DynamoDB and relational stores such as MySQL or Oracle.
• Exposure to digital commerce, omnichannel, and supply-chain areas such as customer service applications, order management, fulfilment, and warehouse management.

What you will work on

• Build next-generation tools and services that serve consumer-ready product information to Nike experiences and backend teams.
• Contribute to modernizing the product-data platform through scalable applications and cloud services.
• Own end-to-end capabilities, including requirements evaluation, design, implementation, cross-team coordination, and delivery.
• Support code reviews, observability, maintenance, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with a dedicated engineering team and contribute technical expertise to longer-term technical strategy.
• Support services for global teams and consumers, including product-data services designed to unlock omnichannel use cases and handle billions of API calls per month.
