Role overview

Join Nike’s Global Technology organization to build internal Consumer Product & Innovation tools for footwear and apparel creation.

Work with engineers and a product manager on software projects supporting Nike’s product designers and broader creation community.

The position is full time and based at the listed WeWork location in Karnataka, India.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 0–2 years of software development experience.
  • Experience with React or Vue.js; cloud architecture, DevOps, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD.
  • Experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, and S3.
  • Experience with Mocha, Jasmine, and Jest; strong knowledge of design patterns and computer science fundamentals.
  • Experience with REST, domain-driven design, and microservices.
  • AI, machine learning, and data solutions experience is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.

What you’ll work on

  • Design, develop, and operate scalable web, frontend, and cloud-native software solutions for Nike’s design community.
  • Build responsive, accessible, and performant web experiences using modern frontend technologies, design systems, and browser capabilities.
  • Build and integrate cloud-native platforms, applications, APIs, and services using an API-first approach.
  • Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies and complete assigned software tasks.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and business partners to deliver intuitive, reliable, high-quality solutions.
  • Support development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence across the software development lifecycle.
  • Improve usability, performance, scalability, resilience, and maintainability across applications and backend services.
