Role Purpose
Manage on-site installation and execution of joinery and fitout works, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to project schedules and specifications.
Site Execution and Quality
- Supervise joinery and fitout installation on site in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate foremen and subcontractors in daily site activities.
- Inspect completed works against specifications, identify defects and snags, and ensure rectification.
- Ensure materials delivered to site meet quality requirements.
Progress, Safety, and Coordination
- Track progress against the project schedule, report delays, and propose recovery plans.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for the Project Manager.
- Enforce health and safety regulations, conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings, and promptly report incidents and near-misses.
- Coordinate with MEP, civil, and other trades to resolve conflicts and maintain workflow.
- Manage material requests and deliveries to site.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design.
- Minimum 3–5 years of site experience in joinery, fitout, or construction.
- Knowledge of joinery installation methods, materials, and finishing standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Physically fit and willing to work on construction sites.
