Supervise and lead crews engaged in industrial, commercial, and residential building works.
Leadership and workforce supervision
- Lead and control skilled labour and work crews across project trades.
- Supervise construction of industrial, commercial, and residential buildings and other trade work.
- Assist trade foremen in coordinating related activities.
- Communicate instructions effectively and maintain good working relationships with workforce and department personnel.
Planning and documentation
- Follow policies, procedures, and work practices.
- Read, interpret, and follow method statements, procedures, drawings, and other discipline-related project and engineering documentation.
Tools, equipment, and materials
- Ensure work crews are properly supplied with tools, equipment, and materials.
- Prevent wastage and misuse of equipment, materials, and tools.
HSE, quality, and improvement
- Comply with HSE and sustainability policies and help maintain a safe, healthy, sustainable workplace.
- Adhere to quality standards and support continuous improvement.
- Report HSE incidents and violations to superiors promptly.
- Follow legal requirements.
- Encourage innovation and cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
Qualifications and experience
- Minimum high school certificate.
- 3–5 years of significant industrial, commercial, or residential construction experience.
- Knowledge of the related trade field.
- Must have successfully become a master tradesman in the related field, as necessary.
