Cost control and reporting
- Establish and manage the project cost control system and promote cost awareness.
- Prepare project budgets using actual costs, estimates, contracts, and standards; review tender estimates and escalate irregularities.
- Prepare monthly actual-versus-budget reports and coordinate cost information with internal teams.
- Monitor daily project costs, metrics, subcontractors, and purchased materials against budget.
- Analyze performance and deviations, advise stakeholders, and maintain the central costing database.
- Contribute to management reports and review budgets when project scope changes.
Risk and coordination
- Coordinate risk-management kickoff, brainstorming, and qualitative and quantitative assessment of risks and opportunities.
- Review cost reports with internal stakeholders and align with the Project Team.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or another related engineering field.
- 5+ years’ experience in project management, project control, planning, estimation, budgeting, and cost control.
- Experience with the Earned Value Method in cost reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of planning and cost control techniques, methods, systems, standards, and software.
- Industry certifications in Project Management and Project Controls; computer literate.
- Certified Cost Professional certification is an added advantage.

- Able to interpret data, analyze results, think commercially, communicate effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- A demonstrable successful track record is expected.
