Site Engineer for a 380kV electrical substation project.
Supervise and coordinate electrical installation work to meet SEC standards, approved drawings, quality requirements, safety regulations, and project schedules.
Responsibilities
- Supervise installation of GIS equipment, power transformers, switchgear, control and protection systems, and cables.
- Ensure work complies with SEC specifications, approved IFC drawings, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, HSE, testing, and commissioning teams.
- Monitor site progress, quality, and productivity against project milestones.
- Prepare site reports, inspection records, and work-completion documentation.
- Support testing, commissioning, energization, and handover.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least five years of experience in EHV/HV substation projects; 380kV project experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of substation construction, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with SEC standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
- SEC/client approval, immediate availability, and transferable iqama are preferred.
