The role is an EHS Supervisor position for construction projects, requiring ARAMCO approval and an oil and gas experience background.
Site EHS responsibilities
- Prepare EHS plans, environmental management plans, emergency plans, risk assessments, and related records.
- Attend client and project-team EHS meetings and report issues and performance to project leadership and the head office.
- Train new workers and deliver EHS training; ensure engineers provide weekly toolbox talks.
- Inspect assigned site zones daily, assess hazards, identify high-risk areas, and communicate findings.
- Ensure required safe work permits are obtained and the work permit system is implemented.
- Check PPE use and the safe condition of ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment.
- Monitor health, hygiene, worker welfare, housekeeping, water, rest areas, lighting, and ventilation.
- Conduct job EHS analyses and ensure method statements address identified risks.
- Coordinate management-system improvements, audits, third-party inspections, and emergency drills.
- Prepare subcontractor EHS contract conditions and coordinate occupational health and welfare measures.
- Stop unsafe work, investigate incidents, share findings, provide first aid or seek medical help, and maintain EHS records.
- Conduct monthly project risk audits and quarterly system audits.
Requirements
- ARAMCO-approved EHS Supervisor.
- Oil and gas experience background.
- EHS experience supporting construction projects and site personnel.
Standards and EHS expertise
