Site Engineer (Electrical Substation) for a 380kV substation project.
Responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical installation activities while meeting project standards, quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise installation of GIS equipment, power transformers, switchgear, control and protection systems, and cable works.
- Ensure construction complies with SEC specifications, approved IFC drawings, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, HSE, testing, and commissioning teams.
- Monitor site progress, quality, and productivity against project milestones.
- Prepare site reports, inspection records, and work completion records.
- Support testing, commissioning, energization, and handover activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least five years of experience in EHV/HV substation projects; 380kV experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of substation construction, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with SEC standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
- SEC project experience and SEC/client approval are preferred.
- Immediate availability and transferable iqama are preferred.
