Site Accountant

Position details

Responsibilities

• Manage daily project-site accounting and financial activities; maintain petty cash, vouchers, receipts, and payment records.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly expense reports and monitor expenses against approved budgets.
• Verify supplier invoices, subcontractor bills, purchase orders, and delivery notes.
• Coordinate with Head Office Accounts on payments, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Maintain manpower attendance, overtime records, and payroll supporting documents.
• Monitor material purchases, equipment expenses, and site financial transactions.
• Prepare supplier and subcontractor payment statements and outstanding reports.
• Maintain accounting records and filing systems; assist with VAT documentation, invoice verification, and audits.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Administrators, Storekeepers, and Procurement Teams.

Candidate requirements

• B.Com bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience; UAE construction or industrial project-site experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Tally, ERP/accounting software, MS Excel, and financial reporting.
• Experience in petty cash management, cost tracking, invoice verification, and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and construction accounting procedures.
• Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills; ability to work independently at project sites and meet reporting deadlines.

Preferred candidate profile

• Previous experience as a Site Accountant in UAE construction projects is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to prepare MIS and project cost reports are preferred.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Pay

• Pay is AED 1,800–2,000 per month.

Work location

• Work location is in person at UAE project sites.
