Project Manager – Civil role focused on industrial construction projects in the UAE.
Projects include cement plants, manufacturing plants, factories, steel structures, warehouses, and heavy industrial facilities.
The position requires a minimum of eight years of industrial civil construction experience.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor, and manage projects within approved budgets and timelines.
- Oversee foundations, RCC structures, structural steel works, industrial buildings, and equipment foundations.
- Coordinate clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, internal teams, and civil, mechanical, structural steel, and MEP teams.
- Plan schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment mobilisation; review drawings, BOQs, specifications, method statements, and project documentation.
- Monitor costs, resources, productivity, and profitability; conduct site inspections and progress meetings.
- Ensure regulatory, quality, and HSE compliance; manage variations, subcontractor performance, billing, and handover.
- Report project progress daily, weekly, and monthly to senior management.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum eight years of civil construction experience, including industrial projects.
- Proven experience in cement plants, manufacturing plants, factories, or similar industrial facilities.
- Strong knowledge of industrial foundations, RCC structures, structural steel erection, and civil infrastructure.
- Experience in UAE/GCC construction is highly preferred.
- UAE driving licence is an added advantage.
Technical and professional skills
- Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6, AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, planning, and contract administration.
- Communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and team management skills.
- Familiarity with UAE construction standards and industrial safety requirements is preferred.
- Ability to lead multiple site teams and subcontractors, manage projects independently, and meet deadlines.
Employment and compensation
- Job type is full-time.
- Advertised pay is AED 7,000–8,000 per month; another description line says salary is based on qualifications and experience.
