Role Overview
Senior technical support role serving major Middle East compression accounts as a trusted technical advisor.
The role focuses on compressor reliability, complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, cross-functional coordination, and field knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities
- Own technical relationships for major compression customers including Aramco, Qatar Gas, and ADNOC.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause investigations for compressors and ancillary systems.
- Coordinate technical experts across client sites, Product Integrity, and Core Technology teams.
- Support Sales, Bid Management, and Service teams with technical input.
- Maintain service reports, maintenance logs, method statements, and equipment records.
- Train junior field service engineers and client personnel on maintenance and troubleshooting.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent technical field.
- At least 15 years of hands-on rotating equipment and field engineering experience.
- Expertise in root cause analysis methods including FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, Kepner-Tregoe, and 5 Whys.
- Knowledge of compressors, dry gas seals, couplings, bearings, vibration monitoring, and performance testing.
- Instrumentation and controls validation experience from startups, overhauls, and precision measurement activities.
- Strong client-facing communication skills and fluent English.
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally by approximately 30% and work flexible hours when needed.
