AWS is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect for enterprise and strategic customers in western Saudi Arabia, based in Jeddah.

Responsibilities
- Build customer trust and drive adoption of AWS services and well-architected solutions with account and business development teams.
- Advise enterprise customers in Jeddah and western Saudi Arabia on technology strategy and cloud architecture.
- Lead architectural discussions, explain AWS value, and guide cloud deployments and migrations from on-premises systems or competing providers.
- Run customer enablement sessions, workshops, immersion days, and hands-on learning events.
- Share best practices and contribute customer-facing white papers, blog posts, and reference architectures.
- Gather product feedback, drive feature requests, coordinate with AWS service teams and support, and mentor regional Solutions Architects.
Basic qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructure.
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture.
Preferred qualifications
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience; experience with developer communities or technical sales roles.
- Presentation experience with executives, IT professionals, managers, and developers.
- Experience designing or advising on AI/ML workloads, generative AI enterprise use cases, data pipelines, or AI/ML data platforms.
- Hands-on experience with SageMaker, Bedrock, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, or equivalent cloud AI platforms is preferred.
