Senior Software Engineer in Test

Role overview

What you will do

• Develop automation with existing tools and frameworks and extend them as necessary.
• Execute white-box and black-box tests; create and run test plans and cases based on requirements and user stories.
• Test complex data scenarios, identify testing gaps and process flaws, and implement product-quality improvements.
• Contribute to DevOps and improve CI/CD for the team.
• Clarify requirements with product managers and developers to support seamless, on-time releases.
• Investigate code to find defect root causes and help design solutions; participate in product demonstrations.

What you bring

• 5+ years of professional experience in a software development environment and ability to write automated test code and tools.
• UI automation and API testing experience, plus performance testing and a range of test automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in object-oriented and scripting languages and experience with relational databases.
• Familiarity with Agile SDLC, Ansible, Jenkins, CI/CD, Git, enterprise architecture, and SOA best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to collaborate with onshore/offshore teams.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent technical experience.
• Docker, Linux, WebLogic, and healthcare-domain experience are a plus.
