Senior Site Architect role with an engineering consultancy/building construction firm in Dubai.
Full-time, site-based position supervising mid-rise building and residential cluster projects.
Immediate joiner availability is requested.
Key responsibilities
- Lead architectural site supervision and ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, and design intent.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, and method statements.
- Coordinate with structural and MEP engineers to resolve design and site issues.
- Monitor progress, quality, and safety; conduct inspections and issue snag lists, site instructions, and non-conformance reports.
- Review contractor submissions, respond on time, and participate in site, progress, and coordination meetings.
- Oversee finishing works and support testing, commissioning, and final handover.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- Minimum seven years of UAE experience as a Site Architect.
- Proven supervision experience on mid-rise building or residential cluster projects is mandatory.
- Consultant-firm experience is required.
- Strong understanding of local authority requirements and approval processes.
- Professional registration or accreditation is an advantage.
Skills and working conditions
- Knowledge of architectural construction methods and finishing standards; ability to interpret drawings, details, and specifications.
- Strong leadership, coordination, site management, communication, and reporting abilities.
- Proficiency in reviewing shop drawings and material submittals; ability to manage multiple contractors and site activities.
- The role involves regular in-person site inspections and active construction-site conditions.
