The engineer supports the Project Director and coordinates with project teams and contractors.
Key responsibilities
- Review contractor work programmes, schedules, and progress reports, and report findings to the Project Director.
- Help identify and communicate programme shortfalls to the CPM team; monitor progress and verify reported status against site achievements.
- Attend planning meetings and scrutinize contractor programmes for logic, critical paths, floats, lags, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with contractor planning teams to meet contractual and client requirements; ensure CPM schedules include activity sequences, costs, and resources.
- Support evaluation of EoT claims and preparation of bi-weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Conduct regular site visits to check work quality and compliance with drawings and specifications; participate in completed work order handovers.
Experience and skills
- Proven project planning and scheduling experience in construction or engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling and project control techniques.
- Experience reviewing contractor programmes, progress reports, and EoT claims; familiarity with site monitoring and handover.
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coordination and communication abilities, and knowledge of construction processes, drawings, and specifications.
Pay
- Pay starts at AED 20,000 per month.

- Work location is in person.
